Is the laser safe for cats and dogs?
It is a low-power class laser aimed at the floor, not at the animal’s eyes, and it only runs while someone holds the button in the app or while auto play is switched on. Auto play stops on its own, so the pet is never left chasing a dot that will not end.
Do I need a subscription to record?
No. The C19 records to a TF (micro SD) card as well as to cloud storage, so a buyer who does not want a monthly fee still gets playback. Cloud storage is the add-on, not the requirement.
How wide does the camera see?
2.3 mm wide-angle, D136° diagonal, H92° horizontal, V66° vertical, plus 355° of pan and 90° of tilt. One unit covers a normal living room; the motor covers everything the lens cannot.
Does it work with 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
